Default The Grenade/ Cafe Rebuild

Well time to take the plunge. Its time to get the motors fresh and ready to go. I dropped one off at the machine shop. Once together and ready to go ill rig it and pull the other for a freshing. Here are a few photos of status as it sits:

Seems all is still usable. Im assuming with the proper welding skills i have ontained i can fuse this back together and have it together in no time.

Trans puked its self to aso its comepletly apart and ready to be reassembled.

Block is all machined and ready to go so thats a step ahead now its just parts ordeing and wating on rebuilds then rig them up and go to town. Ill keep pics comeing and updated posting of the progress and set back as there will be may.

If your going to put that back togrther Mike, you should at least change rings and bearings. Other than that , your good to go!!! Ha ha ha.... got your work cut out !

Rings bearing not even sure what that is along with them freezy plugs things. Why would anyone want it to freese heard thats a bad thing. Ah i lov work i live for it. I was just with Slboatdrinks. AKA Remedy AT owner, previous anyway and just did a few things on his truck for him. With out work id be board. Hey i wan some pics of that bullet since ur working tomorrow and im not so i dont have the chance to come down.

Looks good need some interior shots. Anyway just found out i have an odd set of rods 6.405 so theres somewhat of another set back but ill find some around hopefully. Droppin the block off tomorrow and the crank should be ordered soon if i can get a balanced matched set of rods and pistons.
