Default 28' Cigarette

I'm curious as to how many 28'ss models were built? As an owner of one and a boater in the upper chesapeke bay area I know of three in this area . I was curious , How many are out there and where are they?

I thought your boat was a Baja ... sure looks like a Baja ... LOL
I think that guy who sold it to you just put Cigarette decals on it. Are you sure it's not a Baja ... kinda looks like one.

Getting production numbers out of Cigarette is next to impossible. I had a hard time getting answers about my 28.

Hey Chris ... just kidding about the Baja remark. No offense meant towards the Baja crowd. I just couldn't resist. All in good fun. I understand from Dave that you & your first mate are really enjoying the 28. I'm happy to hear that. Sorry I missed you & Dave at Dobbins Island this year. I'm still dealing with health issues & the meds have me all screwed up with my thinking. On the day of the raft-up, it was quite decent of Dave to offer to come out & bring me in, but I was having a bad day. I was looking forward to enjoying the day with you guys and seeing the 28 again. I'm glad it went to a good home. Hope to see you out there next year. Take care. Tommy
