What is under the hatch on the bow of a Gladiator??

I think its just an unfinished area you can use for storage. Someone had posted pics but have no clue what thread it would be in.

Factory Gladiator is unfinished under the hatch. Lip-Ship Gladiator is a little more finished with gelcoat, fender storage (4) and a storage bin.

I think it just painted not gel-coat if I remember. An Anchor holder is also in there. Love our old Gladiator!

Here's a pic from when we bought the boat 4 years ago. The box and anchor holder is up forward a bit.

I know that mine was gelcoated. Its real smooth and nice. As far as the anchor, I never use the one that came with the boat. I have a small round anchor that I throw off the back of the boat. While it might not be the best for the ocean, it works great at the lake.

My Glad is unfinished, But it does have an anchor holder..

in that pic, it look like the storage area is blocked off from rest of bow. Is it only enough for couple fenders & anchor?
