NON STEP - V BOTTOM - NOTCHED Transom - Early 2000 Cigs, Props in vs. Out

Has anyone ever tested with the props spinning in or out on a straight bottom Cigarette, with the notched Transom? or any other combinations for that matter

Do a search here. This was just talked about 2 weeks ago.

hi boomer I bought WFM S mystique and was wondering about the same thing if anyone has done this with the mystique. Mine does not have the notch.

Did you ever try changing the rotation. Wondering on your results.

I run a '92 kevlar, straight bottom, notched transom, staggered top gun, with No. 5 drives and cleaver 4 blade 28 pitch....ran the drives turning in and turning out....

my observations:

IN- boat is faster on top end by about 2 mph, slight more bow lift, slightly less handling in tight, fast turns, less control around the docks...

OUT-boat feels more stable in fast, tight turns, better handling/control around the docks, ...

accelleration is about the same, although I felt less slip out of the hole turning out.......

My Conclusion: Unless you really need the last couple of mph on top, leave them turning out....better overall.....
