I didn't mean to come across that way, sorry. I just tend not to count the chickens before they hatch. I just know how it works, I get all emotionally involved and then it doesn't happen. I'll give more details when and if the boat is in my possesion, or after I take some pictures next week (I'll post them up). Also, out of respect for the current owner, I don't want to publicize all the info, this boat is not being advertised as 'for sale'.

The reason I ask is because I may know the boat. Wasnt LS's Gun an anniversary edition, or Platinum edition, something like that?

My '89 Cafe is a 25th Anniversary Edition. About the only thing that I know that is different other than the paint on the side stating it, is a small plaque in the cabin saying its a 25th Edition, with maybe a commemorative number.

I can check this weekend if its noted any where else.

It was a 90. Only thing I can really tell "came with it" was the decanture option in the cabin. Which would be nice but I am not going to fill up decantures with liquor and then let it bake all day in the sun and all week while the boat is covered up!

I always thought it was just the embroidery work in the upholstery and that was it. Get a good survey and calculate the whole project and what your time off the water (potentially) might be. For the cost of a turnkey boat vs. a project, there are too many deals out there today that could make a huge restoration not the best use of your $$$ is that is your priority.

This might be around the year Cigarette made only 6 or 9 boats total? Was it 1989 or 1990 or 1991? Could never remember the exact year. Anyone recall?

you are right, I knew it was a something edition, also, I knew something happened to it, never heard the full story, and that was why I was posting here, if it ended up being the same boat I was going to put him in touch with Steve or Bobby.
