Well, for the first time in 16 years the boat hit the water yesterday. This cafe is new to me and the engines are new to her and I have to say I was BLOWN AWAY by the difference between the cafe and my old formula sr-1 311 (duh).... The boat handled perfectly in the bay and even better a bit out.
But on the way back as I was getting on plane, the left engine started to slip. I reduced power and tried again both engines, still left one slipping.
I never heard anything crack, and when I put it in gear there is no grinding sound as I would assume there would be if the gears teeth blew off. I'm thinking it mint be the hub.
The props are 25" hydros quAd iv on 550hp engines so I don't think is prop slip
Any suggestions?
