The motors were just rebuilt by Chief in 2008, they were completely gone thru at that time, they have around 60 hours on them since that was done. We are adding new CNC ported Aluminum cylinder heads, and larger carbs, having them dynoed and just gone over.

We just sent out all the engine mounting brackets, the hatch lift assembly, gas sniffer bracket, sea water drain bracket, and a couple more metal brackets out to get powder coated by Alltizers as well. We are doing them in teal. I will post pics when they return.

Hey Bill, the tweaking is looking good. Who are you having do the dyno run.? I grew up riding motorcycles and boating just down the street from you in Pot-Nets. Now I boat mostly on the Cheasapeak.

Nice looking upgrades for sure.
Your motors should be really nice, & last for a long time being naturally aspirated. I hope you have good luck with the drives having the added HP & torque you'll be getting

No last year we had a problem with one of my cylinder heads, it had a leak on the upper exhaust port, where it was ported, and got water in the motor, so we installed a new head to get thru the rest of the summer. So that is why I am replacing the heads, I know if one head had a leak, the rest are sure to follow, and more power is always good!!
