Default Crank to crank width

Im buying new headers for the cafe racer and need to know the distance between the two crankshaftsd. since my engines are in the shop, i am unable to go down and make the measurements myself.

any help appreciated!

You can get the measurement from the transom assemblies or the drives if they are on. Prop shaft to prop shaft will be the same measurement.

You can also measure from the center of the gimbal rings on the transoms.

Should be 36 centerline

Please don't take advice from someone who is guessing. This is something that you need to measure ON YOUR OWN BOAT!! You can measure from the center of the cranks, the center of the propshafts or even from the flame arrestor nuts....but you have to measure it!

For what it's worth, on my side-by-side Top Gun, the engines are on 34.5 inch centerlines.

Good point My 85 38 Flat Deck is 35" and a Friends 86 38 Flatdeck is 35.5" NO GUESSING

86 Cafe that came with SSM III's and tall decks: 35"
