I guess Griff and Audio are gonna have to find someone else to rib about being boatless now. After 6 years of walking the banks and bumming rides I'm finally back in the game.

It was awesome to see the smiles on the faces of my wife and two daughters again. This probably means more too them than it does me. My ten year old daughter was so excited when she heard the first engine fire up at the dock I thought she was gonna pee herself. That alone was worth it.

This purchase happened so quick it's pretty much a blur to me. A lot of key people helped make it happen. To be honest, I had the easiest part. Others did most of the work for me.

Thanks to all that took phone calls and answered questions about this boat for me. Blee, Nickoteen, Sean, Dreamer all stepped up and helped me make an educated decision about this purchase.

Dreamer took LOTS of phone calls and pretty much put this deal together for me. I appreciate everything you've done over the past few days. Your help put this deal together quick and painless so we could enjoy our holiday weekend with friends and family.

Chad (rebarbox) put more time and effort into this deal than I can begin to describe. His wife sacrificed date night with him so he could get me taken care of. I could type for an hour telling you guys everything Chad did for me this weekend.

Everyone I had contact with reminded me what a great group of people we have here.

The Cig is going to be a wonderful boat for us. To be honest, I didn't think a boat of this size would give me what I was looking for in comfort and handling. I was wrong. This is a solid boat that made me feel like I was in something substantially larger. The compliments and looks we got this weekend were endless.

I'd also like to throw a quick nod out to a couple of the guys at E-Dock for hooking me up yesterday. Mac, you guys rock. Thank again.

I have a few pics I can post. I was pretty limited due to weather so they're not that great. I don't have picture posting privileges here anymore so I will post the pics on Serious tonight and put a link up here for all to see.

Thank you all again. It's good to be back on the water.

Buck
