Default Gladiators which one ?

Hey guys.
I'm looking to import a Cigarette Gladiator back to Sydney Australia.
Any advice on models, engines or set up to go for... or avoid ?

There are quite a few threads on here about Glads. I've never driven one, but the consensus here seems to be to go with the staggered set up... largest motors you can afford (that's my added editorial). Actually the 525's w/ XR's would be an affordable and reliable setup.

I had a 2003 lip ship gladiator with staggered 525's. Excellent boat with a great power package. Did 93 mph all day long.
