Mistress Value

I'm moving and will have a LONG tow to my new home, so I gotta ask:

How much would y'all think a 1985 Mistress would be worth? Solid hull, no rot, 0 hour 468's (forged crank, eagle rods, forged pistons, merlin heads), rebuilt gimbals, TRS drives not rebuilt but in good shape, hynautic steering, 71C's, Stainless Marine exhaust. Needs cockpit interior. It's in process of being final assembled now after rebuilds/upgrades.

I love this boat but it may not be worth a few thou to tow it. I was thinking low-mid 20's.

Thanks, Randy

I think you are correct. Somewhere in the 20's depending on over all condition. Great boats!! I would keep it!!!

I hope I get to! Gotta put all option on the table. :( Thank you, Randy

One of the guys on here had a comparable situation a year or so ago with a nicely updated boat and i think he was having a hard time offing it in the low 20's

Thanks for the input guys. It's a moot point now, she's now officially a keeper.......:grinser010:

Plan to get it in the water in the fall.

Thanks! Can't wait to splash it. Made some progress on the engines last night. Today they should be off engine stands so I can get trannies mounted up and do final plumbing.

Thanks to KE for getting me a couple new coolers out to the house so quickly.

Going to have a wrecker come by the house with a telescoping boom to hoist them in.

Bilge paint looks great .... what did you use to clean it up, prep it, what kind of paint, and did you spray or brush ? Most people are going with white, but I'm still a fan of the old school red.
