Why hasn't that boat sold, maybe because of the Sterlings? I saw that boat a the Miami show in 04, beautiful.

Thanks, Frank.

Back when John G owned the boat, it was a regular on Ft Myers Offshore runs. It is a beautiful boat.

Just a quick note on the classified ads for this boat because there seems to be some confusion...

Be advised that both brokers with the listings DO NOT have a contract on this boat.

The boat is being offered directly by the owner, at substantially lower rate, the classified add pricing is overstated. If a broker wishes to bring a buyer to the table with a reasonable offer it will not be turned down but other interested parties should contact me or the owner directly.

Thanks in Advance!

When John owned it, I had seen it several times passing my Dad's house in Marco Isl. Beautiful boat for sure!

pm203 08-06-2010 09:33 AM

The factory wanted to paint a Gladiator the same way. They were supposed to do a TopGun also.

I've only seen two, the 38' (which has bravo's and stock power) and this 42'. Supposedly there was a 46'??? but I've never seen it.

It's an extremely rare boat!

Frankie in VA owns the topgun, its called "shack money"..great guy too.

Panther 08-06-2010 10:01 AM

What do you Cig guys think this boat should sell for in this market?

I see one listed with 1075 Sterlings for $259K but it has 129 hours and may be due for an engine refresh? Power in this boat is new (dyno only), has warranty, low hours on the boat and a special edition.

Obviously the market is what it is and everyone wants to steal something these days but there has been some intrest so what's an honest number for it?

hunster 08-06-2010 10:14 AM

Beautiful ride for sure. I was in the warehouse the other day and saw it. Very clean !! Motors look awesome !!! I should have snapped some pics ! New canvas !!!!!

Panther 08-17-2010 03:44 PM

Priced to market value with new power and warranty... Any ideas why this boat shouldn't sell?

Panther 09-14-2010 01:05 PM

Boat is still available... Feel free to contact me if you would like direct interaction with the owner.

We'll be putting up a new listing for the boat when new pictures are taken.

the bear 10-07-2010 03:42 PM

Is this boat still with the owner or is it through one of the brokers that has it in the classifieds?

The boat is with the owner here in NJ about 15 minutes from my house. If you want to see it I'll be glad to show you. I've been friends for 15 years and I helped him sell this boat the first time.

I'll be happy to answer your questions and help you deal with Billy directly. No red tape....:coolcowboy:

Panther 10-11-2010 03:51 PM

Some new pictures of the boat were taken Friday. Serious inquiries please send me a PM and I'll send a link.

Panther 11-16-2010 10:53 AM

It's been a while so I figured I would post an update. I was on the boat this weekend showing it to a potential buyer.

The boat has no secrets and shows very well. The engines look perfect as does the rest of the boat.

No dissapointments in my opinion. I wish I was in a position to buy it myself.

Expensive Date 11-16-2010 11:04 AM

We could buy it together then maybe Dollar-Bill would hang with us.:drink:

But then he might want a ride in it to KW and Hotel Room for the weekend! ;)

Panther 11-21-2010 09:50 AM

If anyone has a "late model" 38' or 39' TG with 525efi, 600sci or even 700sci and is looking to upgrade to a 42' we will take a trade.

twin screws 11-21-2010 10:00 AM

Frank, did you decide to change out the motors to 700's?

Panther 11-21-2010 11:58 AM

Panther 02-02-2011 02:47 PM

About two weeks ago someone from a 913 area code text me asking if the boat was still available. I wrote back but never heard from them again and deleted my text history.

yes, the boat is still available.

drpete3 02-07-2011 12:34 PM

Dont get me wrong I would love to have it In Boyne. That thing would be awesome and perfect for lake MIchigan. My problems start with the fact that I am going to trailer it and launch w a 30 mile drive granted that may only be on friday and stay till sunday but not the boat I want to haul that far. Second, is I am sure my pockets are not deep enough to maintain it the way it deserves. Boat is SUPER sweet tho!

Panther 02-10-2011 04:30 PM

Thanks for the compliments. It shows really well in person.

Panther 03-14-2011 02:45 PM

Boat is still available. Serious inquiries only.

I've shown the boat a few times and we've had a few verbal offers (one person from TN, the other from NY) and a package deal offer but no cash in hand so the boat is still up for sale.

Contact me if you're interested.

Panther 05-03-2011 01:58 PM

Well, we had a few offers the last couple months but unfortunately no actually put up any money.

Boat is still for sale, it's time to go boating!!! :)

Wild 05-03-2011 07:44 PM
