Can someone tell me what the cabin in the Playboys are like: head room, length of v-berth etc.? Any place to add A/C in cabin?

If WMF's is hitting 100+ MPH with 650's, any guess on what 750's would run? Is this boat safe at 100+?

I would like to step up to a 38-40' boat for the creature comforts in the cabin (for the wife) but I'm a lake boater and a 35-36' boat just makes more sense. Just need to have a comfy cabin.....

Thanks ahead of time for your answers!

Not a lot to the cabins, plenty of head room when your sitting. The cover girl cabin is like a trampoline, you can stretch out on. The one your looking at has a pump out head some don't. I had Cigarette add a sink to mine.

I'm 6'1', is there enough room in the v-berth to actually sleep in? Can you stand up at all? When sitting down, is your head close to the deck? I looked at a 38ZR a while back and it was basically a crawl in cabin. I couldn't even sit on the bench without hitting my head. Just can't do that type of cabin. Thanks for the info.

Stand up-no, but your head should not hit when sitting. Between the length of the two facing couches and V-birth you should have plenty of room to stretch out.

I'm 6'4" and can sit up straight when closer to the door
the cabin is exactly the same in a 02 playboy and topgun
if it has the extended cover girl cabin ( bed in front) it is long enough for me to stretch out

That is my old boat. The new owner Bob has taken xlnt care of it, i was in Boston last year and went for a ride in it.
here is a video from then
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUjM9zGjXcw
I bought it out of Grand lake OK in 2005 with 70hrs on it
had a drive break right at 200 hrs so had them both rebuilt
Did the top ends on both motors at 300hrs ( just to be safe, turned out they both were in great shape)
It would easily hit 80, fastest i hit was 84
it gets on plane very quick and never had any handling issues. it flew nice and flat and was a breeze to load and trailer. Love those Myco trailers.
I sold it and got a Formula 400SS and have missed it ever since.
I talked to him today about it and he is rethinking selling it but he just doesn't use it very much. Trying to talk him into bringing it down to Key west in Nov for the poker run

He keeps it maintained as well if not better than i did.
I have been considering buying it back
anything else you need to know?

Great information, thanks! Was it always on the Myco or is the trailer newer? Did you do any upgrades? Any comments you can add about the cabin? I'll call Bob when I get some time. Thanks again!

Original trailer,
I put in the intercom system, upgraded the stereo and put in billet trim tab reservoirs. It was always a trouble free boat, but i did more maintenance than was probably necessary,
I know Bob put in led lights, windshield, and upgraded the stereo
He has also been trying different props,
