Worried? Nope. Not a chance. I ain't selling. I love every minute I spend on her.

Frank, I still contend that your resto graphics are the hottest looking of any boat I've seen. Absolutely stunning.

Cheers. :)

I remember that boat when it was in my marina, the boat is beautiful and timeless. See my point these older Cigs are bringing a lot of happiness!

Here is a 92 Bulletwith 200 original hours. kevin that owns this boat it and went through the 525 Hawks that are in for less then half the price of a new 23ft Crownline, and this boat will bring many hours of fun and wave pounding. I was just getting tired of reading threads or hearing people say the older boats are not worth anything.

Sick Stinger 07-27-2010 09:28 PM

Frank your making me jealous I think i need to post some paint pics of my resto cafe. Clean simple graffics old scholl set up with the twist of new school accents. And guys looks teice as nice in person.

Post the pics Mike, ...before you get rid of it!!! You are just flyin through boats! Still got the donzi? I had a great time with this group of old Cigs last weekend. Speed passes(now on youtube), Stellings, sand dunes, and mini tacos are a few things that come to mind when lookin back at Port Jeff. All the boats were fun to see out all at once and I think the old Cigs are something to be proud of. They are definately a labor of love, but are well worth the time and money after a great weekend like we had.:ernaehrung004::ernaehrung004::ernaehrung004:

Frank...your paint job is great! I have a 1994 Cigarette Top Gun. You are right, we need to keep our boats and start using them more. In the images you posted, what LAKE is the top middle image? That looks like a fun place to be. It that a sandy beach to the left?

Sick Stinger 07-28-2010 07:44 AM

Ill swing by the paint shop tonight and snap a few. Na donzi is gone just picked up a 272 formula for the Fall River Poker Run. Its in a couple weeks so need to bang on this one so i can be in it. Small stuff to do. And as for the Cig that wont leave my hands. Has nothing to do with investment but the fact im building it to exacally what Ive wanted for a while. Kev boat lookin nice souns good also. So was the gauge bad, not to get off topic just wondering how you made out.

Thanks! Too bad I have only taken her out 2 times this year. It suppose to be 98 degrees this Saturday in Texas with about a 108 degree heat index. For next year, I'm thinking about getting a custom radar arch with a shade from www.topsntowers.com. I have never seen a Top Gun with one, I wonder how it will look. These towers are fine and removable. Check out their website and on the right you can see some examples of their radar arc with shade by hitting the radar arch link. Sometimes you have to scroll down to see the images.

There are a ton of older nice boats in all kinds of makes out there guys. I have an 89 but it means as much to me as a 2011. Its all about taking care and respecting your boat. 4-5k can really make these things look like new again. Of course whoever stops there lol.

RT930turbo 07-28-2010 05:40 PM

What good are they if you can't use them?! I'm addicited to old school everything (except maybe women :evilb:), boats included!

Love that boat! Post more pics. What Power do you have?

rlj676 07-28-2010 07:26 PM

I love the looks of a nicely updated old cig. The lines are classic, and will never be out of style!

frickstyle 07-29-2010 07:49 AM

I'm also into the simple classic lines and looks of the 90s Cigs. Some of the newer interiors are just too much, too flashy. I like the classic style with big power.

The only thing I dislike is the inefficiency of the hulls as compared to the new stuff.

Thank you! Here's a few more I have on my work computer...

It's a 468" 550hp. Boat runs low to mid 70's all day long. I was looking for a 30-32' boat, but after I took a ride in the 24 cig I was sold. Not the most efficient hull out there, and it sure is heavy, but the ride is unreal for a boat this size. We love it!

That's an awesome classic. Love it. If I ever get my 1994 Cigarette TOP GUN sold, I would like to downsize to something like that.

I love your boat as well, we exchanged a few emails a while back. I don't really plan on selling the 24, but if you have some interest, maybe we should talk. Maybe work out a deal.

Cig 24 deal with the Top Gun ? I think you should talk too! One guy lookin to down size, the other....well, who doesnt want a Top Gun ????? Good luck!

LAKESIDE RESTORATIONS 07-30-2010 11:42 AM

The old cig stuff is just as cool as the new, it's unique & will always be classy and desirable. Its' other family members like Donzi & Apache also fit that category IMO.. I look at them as collectible boats from a different era, much as a one may view vintage Chris Crafts, Garwoods or Hacker crafts.. :) Jamie / Lakeside
