Thanks everyone. But no one has responded and said that an older TOP GUN will float on a 14000lb lift. Maybe no one with an older TOP GUN has a 14000lbs floating lift, just 15000+. Anyway, I'm still checking this post.

First off, I don't consider a '94 an older Top Gun.

That being said, in '94 they did build them lighter so the boats would run in the mid to high 60's with 502's and Bravos. I'm not sure how much lighter, but I have a friend with a '94 TG and the difference is very noticeable to me compared to my '88. The deck on that thing flexes like a NASCAR hood at speed! I think that you would be OK with a 14K lift.....but the only way to be sure is to get to a scale.

I have a 10,000 lb lift. I lifted my Mistress for six years and my Top Gun for two years now. No problem. A 14,000 will be OK. From 7,000 lbs up the lifts/gradle are the same, they change the cables and the motors as the weight goes up. That is what I was told when I bought my Mistress.
