Beyond some of that stuff sounding off. The bravo series started in 88, so he either has a trs or an alpha if there is a stern drive on it.. Jamie

To answer your question...Yes, that could possibly be all true.
I'm sure the phone call to Cigarette went like this:
seller: "Hi, I have an 85 21' Cigarette, can you tell me about them?"
Cigarette; (typical conversation for example purposes only) "That's a svery rare boat. Only around 5 made I believe. I knew a guy in Ft. Lauderdale that had one back in 86, he stuffed it and it sank. Haven't seen one those in many years. I wouldn't be suprised if yours was the only one left."
The Hot Boat cover info is unconfirmable since they went out of business and there's no way to get back issues. However, I don't think Hot Boat Magazine was called "Hot Boat" in 85. It think it was something else.
And if there truly is a Bravo on it, it would for sure an updated item.
Interesting boat none-the-less. I'd like to see more pics of it.
