With a 10 second look: Main caps which broke the block, wrist pin, piston skirt, journal, crank, connecting rods twisted, timing chain, timing cover, oil pan, and I'm guessing a bunch of valves, push rods, and rockers... whoops.

Yep! It's broken alright...

Wow, that looks like the same B&M Blowers I have. What were you doing when your engine blew? I don't want to see that happen to my boat.

I don't think it was driver error. I don't put alot of boost in these motors- the plugs, bearings, pistons and rings had some wear, but they looked OK. The steel crank snapped with less than 200 hours on it, so it was probably just bad luck.

I was cruising around 4,500RPMs, and it went bad in an instant. I just hope my drive is OK from being siezed that quickly.

Sorry to see that. I know it cut Desert Storm (and your season) short. You just rebuilt the other motor recently right? At least now you'll have two new motors that you know are done right!

Yeah, Tank...it happened at Desert Storm, but right at the end.

The other one is new, so she'll be ready to rock shortly with two new bullets. I'm trying to make the SCOPE Poker Run- we'll see.

Don't forget some duct tape and some JB weld............
