Bottom Paint Help
How to Remove bottom paint on my 1986 Cigarette.
I think there is only one coat and it was not sanded before they applied the paint I might be lucky.
SODA BLASTING? I have a 33 gallon compressor and the 100lb soda blaster is $300 from eastwood.
Any thoughts?

Check around you may be able to get some one to do the job for not much more then the 300 bucks plus the media. I just talked to a guy that had it done for 500 bucks on a 30 foot boat. It came out mint.

We have an outfit in the Pacific NW, I think it is iceblast.net that seems to stay pretty busy cleaning and stripping hulls. There may be something similar in your area. Looks like a good system however I have not used it yet. Good luck

There is a link on the lower left "Boat Bottom Cleaning" to a video of ice blasting in action. This is my business and I can answer any questions you may have.
