Im not really sure what your getting at, as with any straight bottom, the mystique has a porpose, i dont think thats any mystery. I have spent 2 yrs chasing the problem because i love the size of the boat and of course the name on the side. The reason for the thread was to let any other Mystique owner know the porpose is gone with 6 blade props, and 90% cured with 5 blades. |

I dont have much of a problem. It is not a beginner boat, thats for sure. They do porpoise but for the size and evrything in the boat being so far aft, i think that is a lot of the problem. Ciagrette could have given a little more space in the engine room. It may have helped with the weight distribution. A set of 525 would be nice in these boats

A set of raylar 525sbc would solve alot of the problem.

Yes, This past 2 months i have been using it alot. I havent gotten trips in like i wanted but i will next year for sure. Its a head turner around here. The porpoise sucks but it can be tamed. Its has been running constantly 76 thru anything comfortably i have come across. It likes some speed and some rough water. I like your 35. I may look for one in a year or 2 and a 38 is not out of the question either. Still have to get rid of this Ocean Yacht.
Im actually heading out to try this title thing again for the trailer. This is the last time , i have advice from a lawyer in the family to try again. Next move is she can take it and deal with it. call me when i have a title. Thats the next step. How is that 35 treating you, Hopefully problem free. I saw your red eye video. Makes me want to be there. I may be down at red eye this weekend if weather and a few other things work out. I really like the 35. you think you may want to get rid of it in about 2 to 3 seasons. |

I added XR drives with standard lenght sportmaster lower to my Mystique. Ive run a set of 6 blade herrings and a set of 5 blade hydromotives. The porpose is 100% gone. Hope this info helps any of you Mystique guys out there.
Was there a big difference in performance between the 5 hydromotives and 6 herrings? |
Boomer, just curious if you dialed in your props yet.... if so, what kind of speeds are you getting?
