Default Mystique Porpose

I added XR drives with standard lenght sportmaster lower to my Mystique. Ive run a set of 6 blade herrings and a set of 5 blade hydromotives. The porpose is 100% gone. Hope this info helps any of you Mystique guys out there.

From what I have seen and rode on all non stepped hull Cigarette's have a porpoise to them!! There is nothing to do to get rid of the porpoise, except by a TS Cigarette. but Mystique is the worse!! That is one of the reasons I sold my old Mystique!

Certainly straight bottoms have there share of porpose problems, and mystique was no exception, but blades can work miracle, and did in my boat. the entire attitude of my boat is different with the 6 blades. it gets on plane different, rides different, and doesnt porpose

if i remember right, your boat had 496's, bravo 1 drives, and 28p 4 blades.

30p 6 blades @ 4700rpm, so i think i need 28p 6 blades. Your best bet would be to call a prop shop and tell them what your spinning now, and they will steer you in the right direction greater blade props

That is great if you got rid of the low speed porpose on your Mystique buy using different props. I had 496 HO with 28p BBlade done props on my old Mystique. I liked the boat but it did not have the speed or the handling of the TS Cigarette's. I love the Cigarette I have now!

I dont know, looks like driver error to me!

Im not really sure what your getting at, as with any straight bottom, the mystique has a porpose, i dont think thats any mystery. I have spent 2 yrs chasing the problem because i love the size of the boat and of course the name on the side. The reason for the thread was to let any other Mystique owner know the porpose is gone with 6 blade props, and 90% cured with 5 blades.
