I have a 2004 38 Top Gun with 525 running Bravo 32 stock boat does 60-62 at 4000 rpm and 84-85 at 5200 rpm. My question is who is running Maximus 5 blade 30s and what results are you seeing? Brett from B Blades says I will see better handling More cruise speed and more top end let me know if any one has switched to them. Thanks Joe

I believe the factory tried them and were not impressed. A friend of mine runs labbed Merc 4- blades and his boat is dialed in as best as you can get. Stock 04 Gun w/ 525,s that gets on plane nicely, handles excellent and has seen 90 MPH.

I have the 5 blade maximus on my flatbottom 1994 Cig top gun. I'm not happy with them. I'm still trying to sweek them and I still am not getting the speed I was wanting. I'm going with bravo 1's next year. I am about 9 mph slower than I should be if I had 28 pitch bravo 1's. That is comparing my boat to others with the same power. 600hp at 5500rpm each side.
