top gun gas tanks sending units ???
 

just bought a 94 top gun . sending units are junk .i pulled them out today to ck .unit marked centroid products cgf-24 3 wire .they appear to still be around .also any idea how many gal tanks these are . ive been told anywhere from 100-120per side thanks guys

Should be 110.

I have a 94 as well 110.

And sometimes there is NONE in there!

Yep...I learned that the hard way!

I put a pair of these in the Bullet a few years ago and they've held up well.

looks the same as mine with the exception of 2 wires .mine has 3 wires .looking at the instructions to install it seems these have to be cut to fit or am i wrong ?? that being the case you should be able to make it so you dont run out of fuel @ 1/4 of a tank or is there another adjustment .my sender appears to have 2 small screws on top 1 says full other says empty

set the sending units up so when the gauge reads empty you have a quarter tank, that way you keep from picking crap off bottom of tank and you know you have a little reserve when you should have bein at the fuel dock already.
