I believe that this is the very first Gladiator built.
I'm pretty sure OSO Steve's was the 2nd one. |

I'm fairly centain it is too. They didn't really have a dash layout figured out yet when they built it if I remember, but it was a race boat anyway.

He hasn't been around lately. Hope he is ok.
Last summer I broke a Camshaft while idling  Ever hear of that? RMbuilder made a new set and I went out last weekend and welded my cone clutch in a drive. Always something right? New Upper to arrive Monday, (Doing My second course with Tres on Thursday), Dug up all my old correspondance with Rik about Arneson drives, Maybe in my future? Boat is a keeper though. Love the boat. :drink: |
Hey mike good to see you back on the forum. Is the house compleated yet, we just poured the floor on our garage addition for the new BLUE 32 :drink:
We are still waiting on our headers, calling Randy on Monday. :coolcowboy: |

good to hear from ya Michael! check out the scx's as well :)
I have been reading that long thread. I saw you were trying to decide that issue too. The SCX has a lot to offer and I did see their latest surface drive model but it seems for every guy who is having success, another is struggling with shifting or big speed loss. I always really liked the idea of Arnesons but I would have to do some glass surgery to make it happen as I am staggered with a big notched transom in the way. I love Mercury's top of the line stuff, which is too big/heavy (too spendy) but the Bravo gear is being used up in an application it was never designed for. |

Had to put the boat back together and such and honestly, I have to get some things I am repsonsible for before the next sub comes in. I need a 10 day week with the 3 extra days being all mine. :drink: You have seen this pic before I think? |
