Actually, if you look close you'll notice the whole deck and lay out was redesigned starting with Rosatti's 50SS. the first built were basically a stretched 46 with a 46 bow stretched cockpit and stretched engine bay. When they changed to a twin stagger set up they lengthened the bow kept a cockpit roughly the size of a Rider and adjusted the engine compartment. The updated 50SS has bow for daaaaaaays and is more proportionate.
For example: A photo of "Na-Na-Na-Na-Na" - an original 50' Marauder. And a pic of "Voo Doo" - an updated 50SS Marauder

Yeah let me tell you, the bow on these things (new style 50ss) is amazing...just absolutely gorgeous lines. Every time I see one down at Phil's I just have to stop and drool, even though I've probably seen that same exact boat a dozen time. Personally I think they are one of the best looking boats out there, period.
