I have a 1994 Top Gun, and I like the FLAPS on mine, except I can't see over it. I guess I have never seen the windshield ya'll are talking about. Anyone have pictures they can post?

We all had flaps on our Guns and in 2001 one of our friends had a new Topgun built with the windshield. Well, at first sight, we all hated it! It looked out of place and wasn,t as cool looking as the flaps when they were down. However, after one ride, we ALL were sold and had to have them. The cockpit gets so much more air diverted over it, the difference is night and day. It will be the best $1,300 or so you will spend on your boat. Now looking back, putting those flaps up and down manually, $ucked. And, they worked awful.

Nice. Does the windshield cover the existing holes from the original flaps? Where did you order your windshield?

I've got one in my garage right now that's going on this winter.

Some of the aftermarket ones that people have had made, or made themselves, might cover a few of the existing holes?

My boat came with flaps originally, & the holes had to be filled when I had the OEM shield put on. TOTALLY worth it. I got mine from LipShip.

I don't have any holes that need to be covered. The previous owner got it from Cigarette and had it installed.

While ya'll are getting your windshields this winter, I'm finally getting a swim platform with an Illusion powder coat from Extreme Marine. I hope to get it within the week. I had to get it for my wife. Maybe I can get a windshield next winter, or make one.
