Just got Gun back from Vincents for paint touchup. He took the paint on the deck colors thru the bracket.
Looks Very nice.

Whatever color you paint it will be the color the windshield glows at night, I painted mine blue to hidethe bracket and it gives off a nice glow through the windshield, almost like a weak fiber optic !

Hey guys, maybe a dumb question...but why wouldn't you just powdercoat this backside of the bracket while having the whole bracket powdercoated?

This seems too logical so I'm thinking there's something I'm missing?

I'm getting ready to do this upgrade in the next few weeks and am preparing.

Is there a concensus of whether to just buy from Cig or was anyone ever able to make one cheaper?

Thanks!

Call Phil @ Lip-Ship in Miami. 305-773-3451
I got mine from him a few years ago & was very happy with it.

Yeah I already talked to Phil, but since I'm "boatin on a budget" I want to see if I can save some coin, which I am pretty sure I can...but haven't ruled out Phil yet

Well here's my update for the low down cost of $148.00
Plexiglass 1'x7' $125
7' long 3/4 inch piece of angled Aluminum (from HomeDepot) $15
Barrel Bolt plastic washers (Ace Hardware) $8

Old School provided the template from his plexiglass when he had it off then I traced on to the plexi cut and sanded

I think it turned out pretty good and I haven't really fixed it up yet by rounding off the corners on the aluminum and maybe painting it.

It really didn't take that long to do...and actually I think what took the longest was getting the balls to make the first cut into the plexiglass....LOL

Sorry for now these are the closest picture of it I have...I'll get somemore this weekend
