I got 1 of these that is going to be restored starting in the coming weeks! I checked these numbers with one of the speed calculators and 1100 hp @76mph shows this boat to be 9600 + lbs. Chit i know there heavy but that's just not right? I'm going to weigh this thing once i have a trailer concern addressed. If it's that f-in heavy i'm done before i get started.

Maybe 9,600 with the trailer!! No way that boat weighs 9,600 LBS. I had a 32 fountain that weighed 7,500 dry weight, i cant imagine a 28 being to much different.

My Cafe is 9,600 pounds dry. No way a 28 weighs anywhere near that.

I'm not an expert on the topic, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

I'm thinking the numbers I've been given on the 28SS for weight is in the 6,500-6,600lb range.

I think my 79SS with twin BB dry is in the 6000 range, with my tripple axle trailer I think it's close to 8000
