Tank,
I didn't get a chance to see your old boat while I was in Ft. Lauderdale over the holidays. Jason is a really nice guy and we're catching up when I head back in March (talked with him a couple times while I was there). Work got too crazy so I had to fly back early.

Think again Cigarette aficionado. George Mayo's 39 with staggered 850's like David Cohen's old blue boat you posted. Then there's the 39 with 1075 that rolled and was attempted to be fixed (I believe). And this 39 with 1075's Custom Marine Sales sold.

There have been a decent amount of 39's powered with 6's & bigger power, by comparison to when they came out & the amount of 38's.
The one you mentioned that Custom Marine sold, is a SWEEEEEET machine. I saw it back in May at CM, & it was spotless with what felt like 30 coats of wax.
Don't forget the blue Mercury 39 that has 6's, & has had 850's, 1075's, & various other big Merc engines.

That's right. The one with 1075's that I believe rolled, was the one sold by Ocean Performance originally.
