Hi to all you cigarette experts. A friend of mine has a 89' 35 Cafe. He wants to move it and get into something different. He's looking to sell it but he really is not a knowledgeable boat guy. Hew has plenty of $$ but only dropped the boat off the lift twice last year. Boat is on Lake Ontario. Good shape. 540's with ProCharger setup, not sure exactly the numbers off the dyno. bravo's with I believe hydraulic steering. I don't have any Pics yet.
Any thoughts on what this boat might sell for in todays market. All opinions are appreciated.
Thanks in advance

How about hours, stock drives? how many lbs of boost? what make up of 540's? Id say with out knowing and you said "good condition" if trailer is included, and try to get the lift 50K but to many variables with out knowing more.

Like Mike said - lot of variables.
I would say if the hours are relatively low, trailer included and the boat has a palatable paint scheme - 50-55k.
That is assuming the standard stuff is on the boat. ie the dash isn't laced with 25 year old black guages, the upholstery isn't original, etc....

Too many factors to give price without pictures and details. Dash, Interior, exhaust, steering, engines, covers, paint scheme, trailer, carpet, ect. Can be a cheap boat to get into, but cost alot in the long run. Seen cafe's from 30K-90k the past few years, and there are reasons and alot of factors. POST PICTURES!
and good luck

Thanks for the imput, so far. I am trying to get some Pics. The boat in Shrink wrapped on the lift right now in the frozen land we live in. If I get him into the right mind set for numbers he will move quicker on selling it.
