It isn't because of dietary concerns - the cocktails just never seem to cease....

Did most Cafe's have onboard toilets or is it a pretty rare option and were they self contained or have a seperate holding tank?

What ever happened to using a coffee can?

Enclosed heads are good for kids and midgets only. Easiest to shut the cabin door and use the porta potty. Porta potty hand down.

after using mine I would have to agree, but in the larger v's I may be happy with the extre room in the enclosed head vs middle of the cabin.

On my 1994 Top Gun, I had an enclosed head. It started sticking so bad that I ripped it out and covered up the hole. I have a porta potty now. The boat does not stink anymore. In Texas, 100+ degree weather and a toilet does not mix. It's nasty.

All Cafe's have enclosed heads on the right. In all my research I never came across one that wasn't a seperate holding tank....

...on some boats; maybe. Others--not so.

I hear tell there's even 28 footers with 5' of headroom in the enclosed head. In boats 30' or longer, I think it's a must for me. But if you're just going to be slipped at a marina, fine.

The location of that PP is pretty tacky IMO. But I'll bet someone at the factory will say "but we've always had it there"..... The cabin os obviously not the boat's highlight.

You're right; the enclosed head(s) on Sea Ray's have plenty of room...
