Yes, the first M8/1100 combo outside of development. Mercury Racing has their own '39 Cig unlimited test bed that they installed 1100's with M8's to get the correct X-dimension and setup. Interestingly enough, they also installed 1350's with the M8's in their '39 during the development phase of the 1350's. Must have been an animal.
