Default My neighbor's 38 Spyder is for sale :(

My neighbor Mike Wolf passed away a few months ago from heart problems and I'm sad to say that his sons have put it up for sale

No deference to the guys family, it's sad he's gone. The picture shows the boat running against a shore with palm trees. The Craigs list listing says This is a freshwater boat with 249 hours'. Ummm, educate me here, where are there fresh water bodies of water with palm trees on the shore line?

Am I missing something here? 250 hours...525's..80 mph and 4 yrs old for $235,000?? Looks like an awesome boat but for that kind of money it needs 600 sci's with zero or low hours. Too many other options out there for that kind of money in this economy.

That is Lake St. Clair in Michigan

I would love this boat with the 525's everyone seems to love huge power but I can't afford it so just a nice riding cruise is just fine with me and the wife, being able to go boating is awesome enough. Don't get me wrong huge power is sweet for those that can.

The Spyder's are basically lower option TS Top Guns.

With 525's, it should run very close to 85mph.
