STRAIGHTPRIORITY 07-30-2011 04:12 PM

pretty boat i wonder if its still in good shape...
looks like it was cut for #6's
prob worth a look. but drives gimbals and trannys would cost more than a 600 hp twin step gun. that would run almost 90.

STRAIGHTPRIORITY 07-30-2011 04:14 PM

anyone know what that revo will do speed wise?

coolmedown 07-30-2011 05:24 PM

It was cut for #6's for sure. Heath was the guy on here who did all that work to it. I spent about 2 hours last night looking this boat up on here. I wonder if the motors are worth anything? The boat isnt in my opinion, unless you have #6's gimbals and outdrives just laying around, LOL

coolmedown 07-30-2011 05:26 PM

bshzba is the search on here to find more info about this boat and the hard work that went into its rebuild. Very sad to see it this way, I agree J-Bonz

I have a buddy with triple blown 540's that will run in the mid 80's on a good day.

Revo

This boat would be a good Arneson conversion prospect, and a lot less than the cost of # 6s and would be knocking on 90 mph door .

damdonzi 07-30-2011 09:23 PM

Didn't it have an arch too at one point?
Sad to see. Alot of time and money went into this.

SS930 07-30-2011 09:25 PM

Cool power, if it's in good shape.

northernoffshore 07-30-2011 10:48 PM

bshzba 07-31-2011 03:27 PM

frickstyle 08-01-2011 08:44 AM

Are motors for sale separately?

osen007 08-03-2011 03:28 PM

If you part it out I will buy the interior.

jeff1000man 08-03-2011 03:52 PM

Wow. That was a good looking boat. Does it come with the exhaust?

wstultz 08-03-2011 04:40 PM

Here is a Revolution complete with staggerds for mid $60K for comparison. Don't know the boat, just thought I would add it to the discussion...

Wasn't Mr. Cigarette, which if memory serves me correctly, Craig Barrie raced in Japan, a 42 Revolution?

STRAIGHTPRIORITY 08-03-2011 06:48 PM

the one in florida is a friend of mine havent seen it in years. loved that boat..

CIG3 08-04-2011 07:07 AM

MR. Cigarette was really fast 110+ w/ tripple 1000 Hawks. Craig said that they could never open it up because it ran out of bottom and got scarey.

CIG3 08-04-2011 07:08 AM

The Maimi boat looks cool but the description is weird. Drives by Bravo. I has #3's.

STRAIGHTPRIORITY 08-05-2011 07:29 AM

I believe someone in Old Saybrook CT bought the boat. I was talking to him at Ocean Performance about it. You could prolly call Billy, the service manager, and he could give you the details. Dont believe it has been touched yet.

kcsteve124 07-08-2012 06:00 PM

I always thought that the 42 revos were trips or staggered twins? The red one in Texas surprised me when I saw it was twin side by side with 6 drives.

Unlimited jd 07-08-2012 08:13 PM

He's actually a welder out of rhode island, good friend of chuck's at ocean performance
