If I didn't have mine and had the loot it would be at my place. Absolutely beautiful boat.

carter38 10-19-2011 04:54 PM

Man that is a sick ride.

Shallow Minded 10-19-2011 04:56 PM

Beautiful boat... what kinds of speeds did you see with her? Was she a Bravo-killer?

johnlomant 10-19-2011 05:05 PM

I never had a drive issue untill 110 hours rebuilt both top to bottom with the best you can buy. It will run 108 gps. The boat is light so the drives will live on the boat with that power.

THEJOKER 10-19-2011 05:13 PM

Love that boat. Somebody is going to get a heck of a ride!

customryder 10-19-2011 05:14 PM

how did you like the Zuls?

LV 10-19-2011 07:01 PM

That is a nice ride!!

jbraun2828 10-19-2011 07:12 PM

He was at the poker run on Lanier.

johnlomant 10-20-2011 07:14 AM

The Zuls are bullet proof and fast as hell.

I will attest to that.

John, you still own that Gladiator, what do you care how bad ass it is you traded it? Must not be too bad ass haha!!!!

H20 Toie 10-20-2011 02:20 PM

I was at Lip ship last week and he has a Gladiator in there that has to be one of the best looking ones i have ever seen.

and of course i forgot to take pictures :(

thisistank 10-20-2011 02:29 PM

I love that Glad. Wish I was ready to buy. Zuls are by far one of the best built motors out there. Kevin Schulte got over 400 hours on his 750's before a re-build and that was not a re-build due to failure it was a preventative re-build! I spoke with Richie last week...Guys a f*ckin' stud!!

Would a set of Six's behind those Zuls help performance or would it be overkill?

The boat wasnt built to run Sixes. It wouldnt be worth it.

No, it would screw with the CG too much. Although there is the one with 3A's and trannies. But 6's would be a whole different ball game...That's a lot of weight hanging off the back.

the bear 10-20-2011 04:26 PM

I didnt thank I ever saw one with sixes, I was just wondering. Very nice boat! Thanks for the answers.

Was it this one Dan? Philly re-did it last year.

just raggin ya John, if I were able I would be up there buying it. It is a bad ass Gladiator and one of the best looking:kiss: out there.

Tom A. 10-21-2011 09:13 AM

I would pull the XR's, sell them, put a pair of IMCO SCX's on there and be done with it.
Light boat with those drives would be bulletproof.
I put a set on my Comp last winter and this is the first year I went without a drive issue! I did not see any measurable speed loss either.

rchevelle71 10-21-2011 09:31 AM

Had a dream I won the powerball this saturday, and my first purchase was this boat, wish me luck:drink:

Tiki Joe 11-01-2011 10:33 AM

I see it's sold...that was quick, but not suprised...it was priced right.
Where's it heading?

That's almost exactly the experience I had with the Zuls in my 38.

300+ hours put on them myself, then another 100+ by the next owner until HE decided to freshen them up while doing some other updates.

Used to belong to member Otis311 for a while. It's a no frills race boat. I don't even think it has fuel gauges. That said, it is set up to be light and fast. This is one of the first few hulls, maybe 3rd?

Not really. It's cleaner the the pictures show. Trailer is really nice. New Fineline interior. Side by side 500's with ext. steering. I thought it had sold.

redbud35 11-02-2011 05:28 PM

Call Extreme Marine. Larry should know the status.
