Hi gents . I have been enjoying this post. I have a comment regarding Tom A's reference to R&D and balance. I understand that the Galidator is just a cut down versiion of the 38 topgun with a different deck . I am suggesting that there is not that much R&D in this particular design and that the additonal weight was already contemplated in the Topgun design . If my understanding is correct then the bottom design has already figured in cabin weight. Just my 2 cents.

The answer is that I haven't, but the difference is that a few of the insecure/jealous internet trolls try putting words in other people's mouths like mine, that they're most insecure about, just to do anything they can to sound relevant. The almost communist little attitude of, "not everyone gets to have the same nice things as others, & that should stop.....", always gets the most PM's in my inbox, with total laughter directed toward the ones pouting those comments, so there is at least some humor in pointing & laughing at the internet trolls http://smiliesftw.com/x/LOLSmileyFace.png PS: Congrats on selling your Apache! :ernaehrung004: |

Well now your putting words in my mouth. :grinser010:
I can just hear this in a deep "God Like" voice.... "Do it my way, if you don't you are an idiot and me and my OSO Veterans will push you out the door" Geez, talk about the pot calling the kettle black....Communist Dictatorship at is best. Cheers, Dave |

Can it be done? Yes, but it really is a stretch. I wouldn't bother. If you like to overnight, you are looking at the wrong boat.
As I said earlier, I prefer to sleep outside if the weather is permitting...but if all of a sudden there comes a hard rain ...I would like the OPTION to have a temporary shelter to sleep out of the rain etc....to me that is the better option than running off to a Hotel (even if there is one with in 20 miles, usually not). While to some, yes the Glad might be the wrong boat for this....but for others it could be the perfect boat for this. For me personally a Glad will probably be my next boat addition, I was just curious to see the underside of the bow area so I can make my own determination if I can make it work for my needs. Nothing more, nothing less. And thanks for your feedback/opinion on the topic, I am glad some here can do it with class and common courtesy. It is very much appreciated. Cheers, Dave |
Also, forgot one more option. I had a L shaped sunpad with suction cups on it that was made by Fineline that adheres to the rear hatch. There is plenty room to sleep for the night on the hatch if need be.

Yeah, better make sure you dont roll off!!
Reminds me of the first time I got my wife (#1) to sleep out on the deck of my new 242 back in 87...she was scared she would roll off in her sleep and drown. I told her not to worry, if she rolled off the deck in her sleep, it would be like tossing a sleeping cat in the water..she would wake up and walk on the water! After the first time she was cool with it. She was a little goofy..but pretty cute, especially with the "80s Hair" back then. http://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Fj...2511122105.jpg Dave |
