Stellings On Side x Sides

Will "GREEN" Stelings fit a 99' top gun, or do most guys only run blacks?

dnebo 01-11-2012 06:43 PM

A freind of mine had green on his 96 top gun. Did you get my text?

Green Stellings

I found my Stellings application chart. The Green style measurement from the crank centerline upward to the centerline of the collector is 20.25". The horizontal distance from the crank centerline to the outside of the header tube is 16.25" and the horz. distance from the crank centerline to the centerline of the collector is 13.5" They state that the minimum engine center to center dimension is 33". Hope this helps. It seems as if they will fit from what I remember about side-by-side Cigarettes. Let me know if I can help on anything else.

I've always liked the looks of them, what is the difference between the green and black, is it performance? or diff alloy?

Green lean forward before sweeping back, longer runners
Black lean directly back.

A Top gun in the classifieds has green headers
Mine has black.

Your so boat/engine smart...lol

Ok Correct Me If Aam Wrong. After Talking With A Few People About Headers, They Have Told Me That My Stainless Marine Gen3 Manifolds will perform better On My Blower Motors Than Headers. But If They Were N/A Motors Headers Would Be A Better Choice Do To Scavaging Reasons. But On A Blower Motor The Exhaust Is Being Pushed Out Due To The Blower. My Stainless Marines Have 2x2 Ports, 4" Collectors And 5" Tails. Seems Like They Would Have Adiquate Flow???

I am not an engine guy so I can’t give you a good answer between the green and the black, performance wise.

I have a straight bottom Cigarette I don’t think that 2 or 3 or 10 horse power will make that big of a difference in my speed.
I know they work well and look better then any stainless marine exhaust manifold. And they will rattle your teeth out of your head if you are into that sort of thing.

I am not knocking the stainless marine exhaust they work well from what I understand.

Thanks and the green are big and in your face. They belong on a nice boat.

My bad.... 34.5" centers. Not sure what it was from the factory with the #3's, but TNT in Miami did the #6 conversion.
