Another full day yesterday...so some updates.

It doesn't look like a lot got done but for those of you who have done this you know that the little details are what takes so much time. Oh and another little project that I didn't first plan on I finally decided to bite the bullet and do over the sun-pad, I just couldn't do all this work and leave that as is. I also decided to replace the mirror plex to get rid of the cut outs for the carbs...I wanted a full flat surface to show off the Whipple's and reflect the LED's I'm adding.

I love how the battery boxes came out, big thanks to Phil for that

Another pic of some of the subtle accents I added with powder coating...the gas sniffer mounting bracket.

Enjoy the pix and feel free to comment.

Looking good! I love the threads on redoing boats as it always seems this is what I do. What power are you expecting with the Whipples?

Seriously, I wish I just gutted the whole thing right from the start, would have been easier. The trim pump brackets that I wanted to powder coat purple...yup finally getting to do those now too

Yeah I bought my MirroPlex from a local place here in Ft. Lauderdale, Prospect Plastics. I'll be picking that up this week or next so let me know if you want me to get you a quote while I'm there.
