I agree. It's legit. Several details of the deck and hull look exactly like my '74. Our hatches are different as I have what used to be the flat hatch, but someone along the way added a scoop. The fuel tank, the fuel sender access, the floorboard piece, the stringers, windscreen recess, mahogany stripe recess, etc. all scream "I'm for real!". As Hotboat mentioned on the forward storage hatch latches, mine are the same, hood pins.

Not sure what the huge hole behind the rear seat is for and the access hole on the port side is in a odd location.

I thought the same thing, I had the floorboard out of my old 20 to upgrade the fuel lines and it looked exactly the same. It looks like someone added the rear access hole. Maybe the owner was a proctologist?

I still don't think the raised part of the hatch is factory. Mine had teak round hole bezels in the front of the hatch.

The mldg looks to be alum and is flat??? Also, an '80 with a Volvo drive???? What is the deal with the markings where the pedestals were---- An octagonal one on the drivers side and a round one on the passenger side? It has race car hood pins instead of the twist in latches from the Donzi/Cigarette era. Am I wrong here?

I would agree and say probably a 73-75 hull. Mine had the old style hood pins and side vents as well. The Volvo was only used in the very first years with the the 350 small block. The raised hatch looks homemade ? Mine is one of the few I've seen not raised, no extra clearance needed for the small block.

Great project, wouldn't take much to complete and keep same power/drive setup. 60 mph is great for this size boat.

Very nice! Something cool about finding an old classic buried deep in a storage building. I need one of these!

WOW!! Very sharp boat.

Nothing better than seeing a clean, classic black boat with a Cig logo on the side.
