Smok'in Grand Lake
 

A heads up for all you Cigarette Owners.

Shangri-La Marina, located on Grand Lake, OK., is hosting the first annual 'Smok'in Grand Lake' - a gathering for Cigarette boat owners. The event will be Aug. 17th - Aug 19th, 2012.

The details are still being finalized but thus far activities include:

Meet and Greet
Fun run with multiple stops
Group tie up at the local water hang outs
Group dinner on Monkey Island
Helicopter video

Brad Williams, Shangri-La Marina manager, is working on the details and will officially announce the gathering very, very soon. Brad also has 110 octane at the dock...:)

For any of you on the East or West coast. Come do this event and the LOTO Shootout the following weekend! Shangri-La will house your boat if you wish to fly home in-between.

At this time - the number of boats participating will not be limited. This is subject to Shangri-La condo availability and is currently being verified. This information will be included in the announcement

See Dan, told you!! You've done Big Cat, let's do something else. Looks like Tom and the Hot For Teacher boat are on board.. Maybe we can drive the rigs out, find storage, leave them there, fly home then back out and tow up to the shoot out.

I have warehouse space for one rig and boat if needed.

You should be able to get rooms at the Tower at Shangra La. Nice rooms and cheap.

Storage for a week is NOT an issue. Shangri-La has lots of secure outdoor storage. Plus, I can place up to (6) truck/boats rigs in my building if need be.

Check flights into Tulsa (About 1 hour and 15 min. away). Also, Allegiant Air flys into N.W. Arkansas (about 50 minutes away). With enough notice, I'm sure we can get everyone to the airports.

These are the managers of the Vista Towers at Shangri-la. They have a dozen little apartment/condo's for weekend rentals. They can give you all the pricing.

The NW Arkansas airport is about 20 minutes from me. If anyone needs a ride to this airport there won't be a problem.

Hello everyone! This is Brad Williams from Shangri La Marina. We have officially decided to have a Cigarette "fun run" August 17th through the 19th. We have been having a great time every weekend running what I would call a stellar collection of Cigarettes up and down the lake. Now we would like to send an invitation to all Cigarette owners across the nation to come and hang out together! The final details are coming very soon, but here are some concrete plans that we know of so far...
1.) Come as early as Thursday afternoon/evening.
2.) Friday morning, we will have breakfast available at the Summit Restaurant. Immediately following, an opportunity to play golf on some of the most beautiful 18 holes you have ever seen. (For those few boaters who actually play golf!)
3.) Friday afternoon, a meet and greet at the marina along with dinner.
4.) Saturday, Fun Run and group lunch at a location on the water.
5.) Saturday night, get together at Big Shots here on Monkey Island and have one hell of a party!
6.) Helicopter photo shoot available Saturday or Sunday.
