Default 2013 42x

Actually 6 people and fuel it was 128 with incredible acceleration. This one has the new bottom (updated 2010), new hatch (plenty of air flow for the turbos) and new interior. Very cool boat.

Can you post a few pic's of the hatch on your boat? I would bet you have an issue of not being able to get air out. You need good circulation to get the hot air out. If you run with the blowers on and them open the hatch I bet the temp's will go down. This would be a good test. At that point some venting at the rear of the hatch would help.

A few photos will give a better idea.

Thumbs up Here's a link that should show you the majority of angles of new hatch.

Thanks for the pics Pier57. I'd say you have pretty good airflow in but not air circulation as stated before. I cannot believe Cigarette would not make provisions for this. I would suggest some vents on the back of the hatch that equal minimum 30% of the intake size. This will help a bunch. Another thing to look at is the affect of the windscreen and back seat headrest on forced air into the engine compartment.

Anybody have some pics of a standard 42x hatch, no inlets at all except for 3 little 2 in round holes on the gunnels. It is so air tight I can't even hear my blowers whining when they're making 10lbs of boost
