Cig made a few 28OS - single engine open bow fishing style boats.

Most are 28SS - two front seats, rear bench with twin's

No others that I am aware of.

I have just a regular 28? Had Volvo drives and 406's way back to the 80's but not sure what it originally had from the factory. But i believe it always had twins from the factory. But is just a 28 not an ss?

I'm pretty sure the OS had twin 6cyl engines from the plant.
There have been some conversions over the yrs to singles.

28 is a open bow center console type boat. You could get with twins, 6 cyl Merc pkg or a Volvo pkg.
28 SS has a closed deck with a cabin. Volvo drives or 280 T.R.S./ 454's T.R.S.

Thanks for the info! I just figured ss had the raised hatch due to the higher x-dim? And was a race version or something.
