dan,i just want to say, your cig is a newly built boat, and some minor problems are to be expected,i met kirk[the boats owner] and his brother kris a few weeks ago and they are top notch guys, kris built the engines and he knows what he is doing,so i dont think there is any need to worry about the engines.as far as the oil leak,i know it might be a little upsetting when you just got the boat, but if you get it over to my shop, you, joe g,and myself will have the engine out in a couple hrs,il find&fix the leak,we will put it on my run stand and run it for 30 minutes, then back in the boat it goes.and if you get some drive extensions,we will get them on in no time flat,if you would like,il even let you wear my rose colored glasses, lol.after the minor bugs get worked out, your gonna love that boat.that is one beautyful cig.

Mike, I would love if you could help me out with pulling the motor your facility is something awesome and would make it soo much easier than me trying to do it in my garage.
There didn`t seem to be any expense spared when building this boat thats for sure...everything is top notch. I just didn`t expect to be pulling a motor one week after buying a boat which was supposed to be ready to go hence the reason I did not insist on sea trial.
I`m going see If I can figure out where that oil is coming from maybe I`ll get lucky and won`t have to pull the motor.
Would you be free possibly this weekend if it is the pan gasket?
One side note: I do have to say though Mark @ Grand Sports Center has been absolutely AMAZING to work with, went above and beyond! ...even offered to send one of his guys to help me locate the leak and I`m an hour away one way! Hes also going to let me use his boat jacks and one of his guys to help me get the boat off the trailer so I can work on it this winter...Can`t say enough there.
She does look great on the water thou:
