Default Cafe Hatch Hardware

Hi Folks,

Does anyone have any close up pictures of the hatch hardware for a Cafe? Both the cabin hatches and the engine hatch.

Mine didn't have either when I bought it, so I have to prop up the cabin hatches, which is a pain. Also, do they usually have some sort of weather seal as well?

I have been told its just a small pneumatic cylinder, but I expect the mounting hardware as to be pretty small. And is it one or two per hatch?

Pictures or a part number would be great.

As for the engine hatch, it looks like one of the previous owners had tried to build something custom, but it didn't work, I think there is supposed to be some sort of metal bracket that helps support and secure the front part of the hatch when its closed.

Pictures and or part numbers here would be great as well.

Thanks!

For cabin, 2 gas shocks per hatch

then the "pins" to connect the shocks to the mount

mount for shock, 4 per side

There are two small "L Brackets" at the firewall that the engine hatch rests on when closed. I do not have any pics of mine.

Thanks!!!

Seems like I have seen a L Bracket of sorts for the engine hatch, and something on the hatch as well that latched into the bracket. But I can't find the picture that makes me think that.

I am looking for the female side of the door latch that bolts to the driver side console. It holds the sliding door closed. The inside of mine is worn out and the door continues to open.....
