Help Replacing Mirror Plex
 

Can anyone give some advice on the best way to replace the mirror plex on the hatch? Also, where is the best place to purchase a new piece. Mine is cracked and I would like to replace it and while im doing it I am going to put in pans for a little more clearance....

Any advice or ideas on this project would be appreciated.

Thanks for the link... What is the easiest way to remove the old one without scratching the crap out of the hatch?

I went to a local acrylic shop to get the mirror plex, was told to use 100% pure silicone to hold it to the hatch and it ate into the mirror. Do Not Use Silicone!

Whats the best way of cutting the material? I am curious on how to cut out for hatch scoops..

wire from a auto glass shop put in under the plexi and start sawing.

Daytona plastics, or Plastics America, sell it in 4 x8 and 5x10. Lowes has the Mirror Mastic to remount. i use a Rotozip to cut around the hood scoops, then sand the edges then polish
