I have a question, some here have compared the performance differences between a topgun and the gladiator . I always thought the only difference between the two boAts was that the gladiator hull was just a cut down topgun so would not the handling be pretty much the same .
Rick G. I believe the OAL for the Glad is 36-11 and the 38TG 37-6- only 7 inches difference. I can only compare the 39; IMHO the 39 s a better ride and the 36 is more fun to drive.T |

Dragon's an epoxy boat, glads a glass boat. Dragon felt like a cat more than a vee when we ran the first one. Very nice boat.

I sold my 38 top gun last year and bought a 03 525 staggered Gladiator. I love the boat! I love sitting down and the staggered boat stays hooked up way better than my 38 t.g. Boat runs 90-92. im running a 6 blade herrin. was thinking about whipples. The gladiator doesn't tear the drives up like the top gun. I just did the Miami boat show poker run with it. I love it!
Craig PS- We'll keep the story of the third picture between us... :D |
Kinda miss mine. It was fun to run.

My ride runs a easy 95mph w/600 HP and 4 blade hearings. Never breaks a drive and makes my competition shake in there shoes. :-)
