Ahhh, the old Hawkrace boat. Was at a local marina by me for a few years. Boat always was kept immaculate and the owner only ran it a few times and took it easy.

The link is to more pictures and the article (needs some obvious editing) on the interior restoration:

I love the idea of a Glad with the 39 bottom!
What size bravos where you running? I just picked up a gladiator out of the classifieds with na 700's built by Brad Smith and I am having a tough time getting the boat to 90. Although I have had very little seat time in the boat I had hoped it could have broken 90 by now.

Something's not right. My 525 Gladiator ran 96 in saltwater after doing the whipple reflash and turning the rev limiter up.

I can't remember what 4 blade Bravo props i had on it, I sold the boat in 07'. You can call Phil and he can suggest what would be a good starting point. You can also try five or six blade herrings. Is your boat a side by side or staggered engine setup?

i know your boat..... mine is of he same set up. it needs a spacer and spin 4 blade b1's in. if you get serious, you may see a bit more speed with herings. give tres a call for that set up... and i'm sure he'll send you the right props.

you'll see a world of difference. it might sound wrong lowering the props and picking up handling and speed.... but, try it. set up came from tres and worked perfectly on mine - faster and completely hooked up.
