I like the boat, cool classic ride....I was trying to tell him what I thought I knew, I'm no expert but...The martini is paint, the cig is a sticker. A few actual quotes from him
"Came with thunderboat rowe key chain with Don's phone number on it"
"I checked and it was titled under Cig until 1979, just depended on who ordered them"
"Call Cig and check the numbers then"
"Don owned the hull and did a few under the Cig name is what they told me"

That's a sweet boat for sure. The martini boats were good boats too, and probably one of the best in 1978. Just tell him to relax, he's got a 1978 26'. No need to start bashing your 38 that runs nearly 100mph.

Charlie McCarthy would know for sure, but iirc, cig never made a 26 and their 24 had 8ft beam.
The round fairing and windshield are a dead giveaway for a Martini S.

Make sure that even if he doesn't believe you, that you ALWAYS refer to it as the martini.
