Do you guys wax your bottoms?

I'm in a very clean and cold fresh water marina. A local diver cleans our boat bottom for $60.

I'm going to be in lake michigan. Chicago though. Guessing not long before my bottom is ****? Should i wax or anything?

That's not bad. I checked for a 35' or 40' non resident slip and it was just under $5k! My boat has bottom paint. I'd prefer to be up the lincoln park area where the hotties hang out. Near south side doesn't seem that bad though, my friends have been living there a while.

I don't wax my bottom...I would think you would want to pull it out and clean it every so often to keep the growth off of it,

Ok, back to this 31st harbor, just emailed the harbor about slip holder parking. Now i know why the description is so vague on the website. "first come, first serve"?! And also "please keep in mind it gets busy on holidays and weekends"?! Those are their exact words. Sounds like its not guaranteed i will be able to park after i spend a few thousand dollars on a slip.

The parking garage is pretty large with plenty of room. I`ve had friends meet me down there and never had an issue parking. Now trailer parking is another story.
You only find out that the lot is full when you take that long narrow road down to the gate .. Then they make you turn around before the gate .
Turning around is fun, you get to back across the grass and block the entire bike path. Them bikers get all pissy .

It`s typical $hitcago Idiocy.

Obviously this wouldn`t apply to you. I could be wrong but I havent seen that garage ever get full.
