No, here's what I'm saying:
F2 carbon fiber bravos no cabin race boat 8300lbs
Paul's 38 carbon fiber #3's/trannys full cabin pleasure 8500lbs
It doesn't seem right to only have a 200lb difference esp since the F2 boat is one of the last straight bottoms built with the latest/greatest layup

I guess you didn't hear the sarcasm in my voice when I wrote that.

I was trying to think back when I weighed mine a couple years ago. Carbon, small covergirl cabin built from lightweight material (which Phil was reluctant to do because he didn't want to upset the balance of the boat), light engine hatch, 500's and bravos and I could swear full fuel (80 gallon tanks) and it came in 8500 on the nose. IF I am remembering correctly. Lotta brain cells killed in the past 2 or 3 years.

My cruise is 3500-3600rpm, which equates to about 52mph. Plenty for me being that we are in inland rivers a lot of the time. I have seen 78.4 in cool weather with a nice chop on Lake Maurepas. However, the boat will run 75 everyday/all day with most any variance of fuel and people. You can tell it's a lighter boat when you get into bigger water, but it just takes a little more attention to drive and tab position. Thanks for the compliment - I do llove my boat as well.
