I have a digital Gaffrig depth gauge with the shot thru hull transducer that I can't seem to get working. I tried placing in a bag of water and it worked for about 15 seconds and then stopped, I tried petroleum jelly on the bottom, nothing seems to work. I tried many different locations with no luck. Has anyone had any luck with these and where was the best location?
